last year i blogged about an event i would remember. i said that because it was the first time i felt i was truly able to control my bounce flash technique to produce great results. anyway, i hadn’t heard back from the client for another session until a few weeks ago when they asked me to shoot an event in maryland. awesome! what’s particularly amazing is that the contact with the company specifically requested me because of how great the lighting was in the pictures i made for them at their last event. so, as it turns out i wasn’t the only one who felt great about my lighting techniques that day.

i can’t post the shots of the most recent event (per the request of the client), but i can post shots from the previous event last year! it was also the very first job that i used my brand new 85 1.4, which is why i included the second shot down.
