from rock climbing to rolling around in the grass… the campus at the university of richmond provided a ton of awesome locations for ryan and nicole’s engagement session. these two are up for anything and i can’t wait to photograph their wedding in charleston south carolina this november :)

You know, it’s the little things that make a photograph go from good to great… and I see it with yours… you wait for that moment when the almost-unnoticeable bit happens and then you snap the shutter. I’m talking about how Nicole’s fingers are a certain way in some photographs or their hands are touching each other in a certain to show not just comfort in front of the camera, but an easygoing intimacy. This session is really beautiful! I hope this block of text doesn’t make me look like a weirdo.

  24. Heather says:

These are just stunning! The wonderful thing about your work is that I get the feeling that it’s so easy taken for granted. Our eyes drift to exactly where they should be, and the photograph just FEELS RIGHT- but how? Your hard work, that’s how. Don’t think we don’t notice.

  25. awesome set man. love your colouring and tones.
