Wedding coverage by Sam starts at $4,900. Reach out via the Contact Page and I’ll follow up with full pricing and entire wedding galleries for review. I promise, after the initial email everything is quick and easy!
I go out of my way to make the experience of being photographed as comfortable and natural as possible. I shoot with as little equipment as I possibly can, and usually by myself. I make sure you never feel like you’re on display, or that it’s a huge awkward production of lights, light stands, and assistants everywhere. It’s just me, you, my camera, and a few lenses. I do bring experimental and vintage gear to play around with (and an entire backup kit), but I operate an efficient setup for any given situation.
Yes, they’re spread out randomly across the internet if you want to search.
Here, I will share a letter I recently received:
For Sam,
I’m yours whenever you need me throughout the day.
Anywhere. I’ve photographed weddings in the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Mexico, France, Brazil, New Zealand and taught workshops in Chile, Brazil, Australia, and the UK. Don’t let distance cause you to hesitate one bit.
After we setup a meeting in person or phone call you’ll receive a custom payment portal online where you can sign the contract and make the deposit and final payment via credit card. I also take checks if you prefer.
I typically deliver 700 images per wedding.
Yup. All of them. Color and exposure will be exactly as I intend them to be.
I really do try to, but often fall behind on blogging. If I don’t blog it’s only because I’m working hard on delivering full galleries as quickly as possible!
Absolutely. You can print your photos wherever you want and you can distribute them around the internet too (facebook, e-mail, twitter, etc). I also provide prints from my professional print lab if you want them done well.
Fully processed, edited, and downloadable printable high resolution jpeg images.
Of course. I truly love these.
He sure can… as long as he stays out of my cross hairs. I do offer a discount for “unplugged” weddings.
Sure do. Let me know if your venue needs my info.
I talk about my process and techniques ongoing over at patreon.com/samhurd
Yup. I’ve been working professionally as a photographer since 2008 and shooting weddings since 2010. I’ve photographed over 250 weddings.
Only if you bring your A game.
Yes. Prisms. Listen here.
It. Was. Indescribable.
