01. What are your rates?

Commissions for weddings depends on wedding location and availability. Contact me using the Contact page in the menu or at sam@samhurdphotography.com for full pricing sheets.

02. Do you have any limits on coverage time on the wedding day?

Never any limit on photos taken and I offer an option for unlimited coverage for any wedding package. I’m yours whenever you need me throughout the day.

03. Where will you travel?

Anywhere. I’ve photographed weddings in the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Mexico, France, Brazil, New Zealand and taught workshops in Chile, Brazil, Australia, and the UK. Don’t let distance cause you to hesitate one bit.

04. How do we book & pay?

After we setup a meeting in person or phone call you’ll receive a custom payment portal online where you can sign the contract and make the deposit and final payment via credit card. I also take checks if you prefer.

05. How many photos do we get?

I typically deliver 700 images per wedding.

06. Are all of our photos edited?

Yup. All of them. Color and exposure will be exactly as I intend them to be.

07. Do you blog every wedding?

I really do try to, but often fall behind on blogging. If I don’t blog it’s only because I’m working hard on delivering full galleries as quickly as possible!

08. Do you have any client reviews?

Yes! You can just search around the internet. My reviews aren’t solicited.

09. Do you provide a print and distribution release?

Absolutely. You can print your photos wherever you want and you can distribute them around the internet too (facebook, e-mail, twitter, etc). I also provide prints from my professional print lab if you want them done well.

10. What do we get in our online gallery?

Fully processed, edited, and downloadable printable high resolution jpeg images.

11. Do you take wedding day family group portraits?

Of course. I truly love these.

12. Can my uncle take photos during my wedding?

He sure can… as long as he stays out of my cross hairs. I do offer a discount for “unplugged” weddings.

13. Do you have insurance?

Sure do. Let me know if your venue needs my info.

14. What equipment do you use?

I’m a featured photographer over at shotkit.com

15. Is this your real job?

Yup. I’ve been working professionally as a photographer since 2008 and shooting weddings since 2010. I’ve photographed over 250 weddings.

16. I’m a photographer and you seem cool. Can I shoot with you sometime?

Only if you bring your A game.

17. I heard you also play in a band. Is this true?

Yes. Prisms. Listen here.

18. One more thing. Did you really have the freshest coke of your life with the Cola-Cola CEO after photographing him?

It. Was. Indescribable.
