nessa k and i photographed jesse and peter at one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever seen in my life.
the entire island literally applauds the sunset every night.
for a few days i was happy to call myself a santorini wedding photographer.
also – i used one of nessa’s photos – and it just happens to be the very first one
So dope Sam!
Thats awesome

Parei né Meoo.. Hahaha ❤
OMG!!!!
Very creative! Great shot!
Ridiculous!!! So good Sam
Amazing use of negative space, if I was gonna be nitpick-y, the blurred/bokeh’d mirror frame makes the groom look pasted on at web size. (Says the guy who’s most definitely not Sam Hurd).
yeah i agree with you. but, he’s not pasted on so there’s not much i can do about it, haha
How is the image on the mirror alone in focus? The object is that plane is out of focus.
magic
It’s called Photoshop lol
Double exposure and masking?
Of course I got that it is Photoshop. ‘magic’. May be a bit of blue would have been awesome.
Or a small aperture maybe? But then the mirror itself would be in focus..
Blur I mean. Autocorrect dammit.
I’m gonna take a stab and say one single exposure. Just a little photo magic in the sense that the groom is on the same plane of focus directly behind the bride but composed so he isn’t in the frame but so hes centered in the mirror. If I’m right do I win a klondike?
two photos i say.half and half.
double exposure. The end.
not really, actually while the frame is out of focus, the image reflected is virtually at the same distance from the lens as is the bride, do the experiment yourself, if you focus something on a mirror, the content will be different, the mirror acts as a window that will allow you to see further, but in this case is further back. I’m quite sure there’s no photoshop here nor any special tilt-shift lens.
Talent is a good answer too 🙂
The answer is Sam Hurd!
Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! 🙂
Looks familiar Jacob Loafman
???
You posted a photo similar to this recently I thought?
No, sir. Beautiful photo, though! 🙂
Dude, so good!!
Composition IMPROSIBRUUUUU

Wow, she is a Gaga look alike, but a much classier version! Gorgeous capture!

Oh hell no. That is WAY to cool
So good
Unbelievable!
Beautiful.
Tremenda foto sam
LOVE!!
Something like this?!
That’s my guess!
lol
Você é um louco Sam! Belo trabalho!
Epic.
He’s in the same plane as she is. (That’s my guess) You can see this shooting reflections…the reflection in a puddle of water is as crisp as the subject…
Amazing !!!
crazy composition! congratulation Sam 🙂
super !
Love it!
We got to go to Santorini over the summer and I am aching to go back. What a beautiful place!!
fantastic.
Awesome Photo!
what a nice picture sam!
HOLY COW! I have been there, but, Sam, you make it even more magical! Absolutely stunning!
Not many photographers continually amaze me and motivate me. You are awesome! Stunning work. All of it.
Thank you for making a Santorini wedding look natural! Assuming you used the D750, how did you deal with shooting against the sunset, underexpose and bring up shadows in post?
(y) No doubt about it. 🙂
So very beautifully shot, and of course the wedding and couple too ! 🙂
