Paige R Everson Or praying to have a nice picture… couples are happy with a picture where their love is reflected. As photography I think that is the composition and the process are ok, but as client I would love a picture where the feelings with my beloved are captured, the rest are accesories.
Yeah, and I’m sure he has 500+ images from the rest of the day showing their happiness and love. The image reflects his personal style, which is why the couple hired him in the first place (and not another photographer that would make the couple do some cheesy dip to “show their love”).
How someone can come through a very talented professional photographer’s page and criticize a wedding photograph with a bride and groom pictured(who will most likely be able to see your negative comments) is beyond me.
Yimi Cruz Bringas i think you fail to think about the fact that the michael and joanie were with me all day long and they know exactly what photos we took throughout our time together. do you honestly think i don’t know what i’m doing? do you think this is the only imagery i deliever from a wedding day? do you ever think that there might be more to a wedding day, and a relationship, than laughter and bliss? i think there’s much more. i think photos like this portray a sense of strength and confidence. quiet thoughtfulness. but here’s one to satisfy you too…
Thanks, well I just wanted to express what I felt when I saw this picture the expressions of them are anorgasmic, and the composition helps to it, as if they were trapped in an alley of boredom. It was the way I read it, I didnt want to say that you do not how to make your work.
Each photographer is an artist, there work is truly there to exhibit its not to satisfy everyone but their own artistic talent and that of their clients. We as photographer has each imagery that you might like and being a photographer you have to look beyond what your own feeling is about a photo but to think about the work that was put into the photo. <3 Love all photographer individual talents and you will see that its the love that each of them put into the piece.
aw sam, we love this one! it makes us look so artsy when we probably ruined all your photos cracking up and making faces. i love all these teasers π
If he shot with a Hasselblad Medium format SLR, he could have used a digital back. Those cameras are very compartmentalize. There’s a function where you can remove the back of the camera where your film is to switch between films stocks. Some people like to use a digital compartment instead of using film. It’s pretty neat.
WONDERFUL!
Great!
so good
Love it
No words can describe esthetics of this image.
i really appreciate that, thank you syeda!

This is very interesting…what sort of location is this?
Is it reflecting the green triangle on right?
I think it’s reflecting the whole right side now. That or I need coffee. π
Dope.
And that smirk … Great touch!!!
stupid good.
High ISO shot so maybe lit with the iPhone’s flash light? Solid work as always Sam!
Possibly, did you use your flashlight on the phone to catch focus? π Beautiful!
are they sleeping, boring or tired, I mean expression is more important.
i’d normally agree, yet with colors and composition like this, I think the facial expression hardly matters.
Maybe they’re praying…for less critical people in the world.

I love how it can be an alleyway or a lime green triangle, nice compo sam
i like how you handled that sam. i often wonder how to talk to or even ignore my critics. guess i’ll sit and think about that one…
aw sam, we love this one! it makes us look so artsy when we probably ruined all your photos cracking up and making faces. i love all these teasers π

Another great shot that made me go back and look at it again.
Cool iPhone reflection π
Err… Are they looking at it? the iPhone i meant?
Jim, do you know the photographer ? Will read your response when I get back from taking Tim for a blood test.
For the record…this picture is splendid!! Great work!!
Intrigued…
In die Ecke gedrΓ€ngt :p
Wieder mal eine Laienmeinung :p
Well, the only possible reflection is on the sides, if you look close you can see the darker patches on the walls mirror each other π
Now I won’t be able to go on with my day…
Love!
Intrigued!!!

I did a shot through a viewfinder of a vintage camera about 4 years ago and loved the results. I should have done a bit more of it.
