in early 2015 i was fortunate enough to join my best friend tucker and his wife in kenya. the purpose of my trip was to document the work they were doing with kijabe hospital (where they lived for a month) and to photograph wildlife and animals on a maasia mara safari. on my very first day i spent hours documenting how tucker trained the medical staff in the hospital to do a variety of anesthesia techniques. after that we flew to the maasia mara reserve for only 2 days of safari before meeting up with nessa to visit tanzania. 2 days is FAR too short and i can’t wait to return in the next year or 2 for a proper extended safari.
Love this Sam! Great work dude.
Beautiful work! This stirs me up inside. I’m sure this is such a blessing to the people there.
Just saw this collection and WOW. It’s like what they say when somebody is so good they can sing the alphabet, you can seriously photograph anything & blow everyones minds.
Insane photos! wondering what camera you used for this..
Truly some very amazing and awe inspired photos, thanks for sharing
Sam – we met at Harry’s and Amir’s wedding in DC and you have me very good hints to use my cannon camera. I am originally from Kenya. Your photographs are really Gerry impressive I am glad my son Karan forwarded me the link to your web site. I also paint wildlife from photographs I take. Your photos are phenomenal.
Hello Sam, Watching this from Tanzania! And I’m amazed at the level of skills and quality of work you do. I’ve just learned about you today as I was watching your review on the EOS R3 from Taylor Jackson YouTube channel.
Really love your work. By the way I’m a photographer and videographer in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
thanks jonathan! i really appreciate you taking the time to message me, and maybe one day our paths will cross – I’ve been dying to go back to Tanzania too!
