how much I make. where it all comes from. where it all goes.

let’s talk about money.

the awkward, essential, and (often times) frustrating topic that can enable or crush everything we do in life.

all I ask is that this post not be directly shared anywhere as I don’t like the idea of the normal public analyzing every aspect of the financials of my business, but for you few on patreon – I think it will provide some really helpful insight.

first off – I make good money, I save a lot of money, and I spend a lot of money. life has been particularly good to me, but one thing I can’t stress enough is that I’ve never tried to maximize profits. I leave a lot of money on the table (print/album sales, I never nickel and dime my clients, and I never push them toward a decision) and that policy has always ended up working well for me. at the end of the day if you do good work you will make good money. maybe not as much money as a savvy business person, but good money all the same.

most of it is spent on my business and most of it is travel. travel is great! but not a super profitable way to run a business. it takes a lot of time to get from A->B and 9 times out of 10 your time is better spent focusing on your local market.

this post is in no way meant to be showy or as a must do recommendation
