shannon > wedding < christian // winter dc wedding

just a few weeks after photographing their engagement session at the national museum of art in downtown dc i had the honor of shooting shannon and christian’s wedding. It took place at the lincoln restaurant where the theme of pennies could be found in everything from the oversized chocolate penny candies on the tables to the dining area floor made of them. with shockingly perfect weather and a dance party for the record books I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to end the year with.

    Lovely work!

  • Stunning work Sam, absolute brilliant light.

  • These are utterly fabulous! It’s hard to pick a favorite — all the ones at the Lincoln Memorial with the clean neutral colors are gorgeous. All of these images are, really! The compositions you come up with always astound me. 🙂

  • Awesome pictures and super awesome Prism-ing! It makes me want to try it sometime!

  • Good stuff! You’ve out-voltronned voltron on that 2nd to last frame – epic stuff!

  • Great work man!

    Excellent Photos!
Wishing you continued success Sam, I remember watching you work these photos with such focus. I the one who designed the bridal bouquet and wedding flowers for the entourage – it seem as it was just yesterday but many years gone by and I hope Shannon and Christian are blooming beautifully in their marriage.

    Regards!
