so, today we had a little earthquake here in dc. just a 5.8, but when you work in a nearly 100 year old building… that can be a little freaky. i’m guessing most (if not all) the buildings in DC weren’t built to withstand earthquakes and people here aren’t trained well about how to respond to them. i grabbed some photos during the brief panic. i can also assure you that the national monument is NOT LEANING… at least not that i can tell.
