nessa, sara & dylan and i travelled to the netherlands, belgium, and france in july. it’s hard to beat traveling with such fun and talented friends.
photographs were made using the leica m typ 240 (i reviewed here) the leica 24mm f/ 1.4, the leica 50mm f/0.95, and the voitlander 35mm f/1.4. a few were iPhone 5.
normally i use the leica as a side camera for wedding days but this proved to be an absolutely perfect kit for travel photographs because of the lightweight and small size.
it’s impossible to beat the quality of a full frame camera sensor while having the ability to change lenses and use the legendary leica glass (especially the noctilux 50mm f/0.95) made every photo opportunity a joy for me.

Sam,
I have been following you for awhile now. Mostly with kindred thoughts as I view you work and opinions. With this post you are forcing people to re-evaluate the way they see their lives and the way they want to take on the world. I love it. View is the key. Very good, very good.
